Privacy policy
Version 1.0 · revised 15 September 2026
Who we are
Sprintunit is operated by Ofelia Hartmann, F. R. Kreutzwaldi 4, Tallinn, Estonia. For anything in this document, [email protected] is the address that reaches a human.
What we collect
When you write to us through a form or by email, we receive what you send: name, email address, and the message. When you visit the site, our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser string, time) for security and debugging. If you allow measurement cookies, a tag may record which pages were opened; that tag loads only after consent.
Why we collect it
Correspondence: to answer you and to run engagements. Server logs: to keep the site safe. Measurement: to see which guides get read so the archive grows in the right direction. We use the data for these purposes only.
Cookies
The site sets a single cookie on its own behalf: the one that stores your consent choice. Optional categories (measurement, marketing) set nothing until you switch them on. The full table lives in the cookie policy.
How long we keep data
Correspondence stays until the conversation and any engagement it led to are finished, then for one more year in case questions come up. Server logs rotate within thirty days. Measurement records follow the retention of the relevant tag once enabled.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or erase it, and object to a use. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate. Write to the address above and we answer within a month.
Where data goes
Data lives on the hosting that serves this site and in the email account that receives correspondence. We do not hand your data to data brokers, and we do not move it outside the European Economic Area without the safeguards the GDPR asks for.
Changes to this policy
When the practice changes, this page changes and the version date moves. Material changes are announced on the Articles page as well.
