Lane 01 / the studio

A small studio with a long archive

Sprintunit is run from Tallinn by Ofelia Hartmann. The studio writes guides and holds working sessions for teams building digital companies, blockchain products, and open protocols.

What we are for

We work with teams and organisations, not private individuals. Companies, studios, protocol groups, and school programs come to us when the material they find elsewhere reads like a slogan or a thesis, and they want the version in between.

Every guide is read aloud with a live group before it ships. If a room cannot follow it, it goes back to the desk. That loop is the oldest thing in the studio and the reason readers stay.

The studio also keeps the Onchain Dictionary — a public term base that grew from reader questions — and publishes essays in the Articles section each season.

Lane 02 / house rules

Three working rules

Rule 1

Test everything aloud

No guide ships until a live group has read it out loud and survived the pauses.

Rule 2

Plain words first

If a sentence needs a second read for the wrong reason, the sentence gets rewritten, not the reader.

Rule 3

The reader decides

We explain how things work. What a team does with the explanation is their call, and we say so.

Lane 03 / the person

Ofelia Hartmann

Ofelia started the studio after a decade of writing onboarding material for technical teams. She keeps the archive, runs the Tallinn workshops, and answers most of the mail.
